Missing You & You

Well today is suppose to be wordless Wednesday but I have some words that need to be said....

While I am stuck in the hospital trying to get myself patched up,

I MISS YOU & YOU BUNCHES AND BUNCHES!!!

Snack Party

Earlier this week M~ and I went to get J~ some snacks to take with him to work.  When we got home I brought them in the house and put them on the kitchen floor.  I was busy getting laundry together and when I came in the kitchen this is what I found...

He looked like he was having so much fun!  He would take each thing out of the bag and shake it then try to put it in his mouth...He was having him a snack party!

Boogie Shoes

Ok so first you have to imagine "Boogie Shoes" is playing in the background!  ( I could not figure out how to add a music clip to go with this post.)


For the past few weeks my mom has been on me about M~ needed some shoes to help him walk.  So Tuesday we took a trip to the Stride Rite Outlet.  We lucked up and was able to get 2 pairs for the price of one so we got a size 3 & 4 of the same shoe.  My mom is convienced M~ will be walking in no time with these shoes.


Now that M~ has his new "Walking Shoes" man does he go!  Still not walking on his own but they are helping him along. He is not walking on his tippy toes as much and they help him keep his balance more.  So here is M~ in his new "Boogie Shoes!"

Wordless Wednesday

New Tab!

Today I have been playing with blogger and trying to figure out how to enhance my blog.  I have had the idea of wanting to add more content to my blog but just didn't know how to do it.  Well, I have figured out how to add a new tab so there it is!  At the top of my blog, it is call Everyday Life...Personalized.  It is still under construction as I still have tons of stuff to add to it but hey, it is there and I have some pics posted there.  Check it out!  Let me know what you think!  I am trying to get my home business up and running and thought this would be a great place to advertise!  I hope you enjoy my work and check back soon for more additions!

Well that was me today, didn't have the best of days.


Woke up to one of the dogs was loose and running around like crazy.


M~ has not wanted to eat much today!


Had plans to go to town but didn't get that done.


M~ is cutting 4 top teeth and his gums are hurting him, so he has been whiney!


Tried my hand at cooking fried okra, but I burned it.


Busted a jar while cleaning up the kitchen!


BLAH! BLAH! BLAH!  That has been my day!

Grandparents Day

Did you know that Sunday, September 12th is Grandparents Day?

M~ is blessed to have wonderful grandparents and they are an important part of his life, so we are doing something special for them.

Today we participated in a free craft event, at a local store, to test out a project for Grandparents Day.  I must say I have found a new product that I am in love with!!!!  M~ and I are going to work on his gift for his grandparents this week.  I will have pics up soon of the completed project.

The Past Few Months

Whew!  How time flies!  This blog thing is a bit harder than I thought it would be.  Well anyways, here is the update on The Sassy Massey's for the past few months. J~ has gotten a new job, he is now working with AT&T doing technical support for their DSL service. He seems to like his job just sometimes the hours are a little crazy.  But, he thanks the Lord he has a job!   M~ is now a year old!  We just celebrated his first birthday for the past 2 weeks, that is right, he had 2 parties!  He is getting so big...he crawls everywhere he wants to go and even pulls up all of the time.  I am sure he will be walking soon!  Well, and then there is me....hmmm...where to start?  Just kidding!  I am doing great!  I am having a blast staying home with my lil' angel.  So, all in all The Sassy Massey's are BLESSED!  Well until next time, which hopefully will be soon!

Nice to Meet You!

Well, I thought I should start this first post with a little intro about our family. Hubby J~ was working in call center doing tech support for the Apple IPhone, however he has been laid off...so now he spends much of his time job hunting. When he is not working we spend much of the time together and share baby duties. He is a great help to me around the house and with M~. Something you may not know about J~....hmmm.....oh yeah, he LOVES to cook! And man is he a great cook. Just tonight he grilled pork chops, made homemade mashed potatoes, and served up some broccoli and cheese! It was delicious! Now little baby M~...is currently 6 1/2 months old and is a great blessing to us both! He is a special guy, he brings us lots of joy and happiness! M~ is what we call our little miracle baby, he was born 2 months early and spent his first 3 weeks in the NICU. When he was born he only weighed 4.5 pounds and was tiny, but he is growing like a weed now! He is weighing in at 14.5 pounds now, and looks just like his daddy but acts like his mommy. Just this week his Gigi bough him a shirt that says: 50% Mommy +50% Daddy ------------------ 100% Adorable And man is that true and he knows it already! Everywhere we go his always flirting with the ladies and flashing his money maker (that is what I call his smile) So I guess that only leaves me...B~ well what can I tell you about myself? I am a stay at home Mommy but always busy! I also run a small business out of my home, and am currently taking an online web design class, as well as attending small business seminars at least once a week! So needless to say, I always have something going on. Well, guess I better get going, it is time for bed! I will try to keep up blogging and promise things should be much shorter in the future. Just thought I would introduce ourselves a little bit, so with all that said, We are The Sassy Massey's and nice to meet you!
